There at Big Mountain Ski Resort they have lots of skiing, in the winter. Then in the summer they do all sorts of Zip Lining, Hikes, Hanging Bridges, An Alpine Slide and An Arial Park (or like a big obstacle coarse on the trees).
We did the Alpine Slide and the Arial Park. They were both AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Arial Park:
Here is my dad on one of the obstacles.
There were 5 different levels. I did the first 4, but did not do the last and hardest one.
All of us did the 1st and 2nd level, but then my mom didn't want to go on the 3rd and 4th level. All the obstacles were very hard and really test our physical and mental skills, especially the 4th level!
There are all sorts of things that you had to learn first before we went on because you are attaching and reattaching you and all your gear yourself. You also get to hook yourself up to the zip lines that are on the coarse.
The straps are in my face. :)
We had to walk on wires! Like tight rope walkers.
As you can see some of the courses were really complicated, and the hardest part about this one is that you have to attach and reattach yourself on the middle of the wire!!!!!!!
It was all really really fun!
Then after we completed the obstacle coarse in the trees we headed over to the Alpine Slide.
(Well there are no pics of us on that because we all four went on.) The Slide was really fun! They had it set up like the bobsled tracks they would use for the Olympics. They had a long slid and you slid down on the carts (they had wheels) and you had a handle to control how fast you were going.
On the way back to hotel we stopped at what everyone said had the best Huckleberry Ice Cream!
And oh were they right! It was soooooooo good!
We also went driving around to a little town that we had not been to before and went in some shops.
It was a great last day in Glacier National Park!
