White Water Rafting

On Saturday morning, we drove from Waterton, Canada, back through Glacier Park. We made our way down to West Glacier. On the way we saw another coyote on the side of the Going to the Sun road. He was really close and we got a good look at him. We stopped at Logan Pass again hoping to see some Big Horned Sheep, but the only thing we saw were some more mountain goats.

Then when we got down to West Glacier we went White Water Rafting, with the Glacier Raft Company. It was sooooooooooooooooooo much fun! Mommy was a little scared before we went, but then after it was over with she loved it! We went on the middle fork of the Flat Head River. Our rafting instructor was Paul. He goes to school at the University of Montana. So we had fun talking to him about there wildlife classes. He is into like the wildlife and fishery stuff, so I enjoyed talking to him about that. We did not go rafting until 4:00pm, so our raft was the only other raft on the river. It was nice and peaceful.

In our raft there was one other family, they were all very nice. The little girl got stung by a bee right before we got on the bus to go down to the river. They gave her some medicine and an ice pack and luckily she was able to go.

This is a picture that they took of all of us from the side of the river!

We were having a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In total we went over 9 big rapids. They were all class 2-3 rapids. Abigail, Daddy and Justin were all sitting in the front and got soaked by all the waves that came over their heads. The water was also pretty cold, because it is glacier melt. We all got really wet from the water splashing up, but Abigail the most.

We had soooo much fun and can't wait to go back again!!!!!
